Wondering if you know of any African American CNM or CPM’s in the Saint Louis area?
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Pam Fuchs, . I am the program administrator for the RN program at Brown Mackie College in St. Louis.
I am emailing to ask about the possibility of clinical affiliation with Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
Brown Mackie College is fairly new to the St. Louis area, having opened our door just a year ago, februrary. We are however not a new college having been in existence in since the early 1900′s. We have over 28 locations and are affiliated with Argosy College, the Art Institute and South University, being owned by EDMC (Educational Management Corporation). We are accredited by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) and the Missouri Department of Higher Education.
Brown Mackie-St Louis was recently approved by the Missour Board of Nursing for a registered nursing program. Our program would be a 24 month program with admissions twice a year of 18 students. As a part of the approval process we are seeking clinical sites affiliations with health care facilities. We would provide a clinical instructor to facilitate and supervise students in clinicals. Our plan would be to admit students in the fall of 2011,
